Catherine Spomer, ARNP, Joins Lourdes Gastroenterology

Lourdes Health is pleased to announce that Catherine Spomer, ARNP, has joined Lourdes Gastroenterology as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.

At the clinic, Catherine joins gastroenterologist Dr. Gary Belcaster, MD.

Catherine will see patients at Lourdes Gastroenterology clinic located at 7425 Wrigley Dr., Ste. 204, in West Pasco off of Road 68. She treats patients for a variety of conditions including acid reflux, abdominal pain, gastrointestinal bleeding, digestive diseases, chronic heartburn, colon cancer screening and more.

She is a great patient advocate, and we are excited to see her grow her practice with Lourdes,” said Emilia Keener Senior Market Director of Physician Services. “Gastroenterology services are in high demand, and we are grateful to be able to add another provider to the clinic to help meet the needs of our patients and community.”

Catherine graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner program from Purdue University with her Master’s in Nursing degree. She previously attended Purdue University and Indiana University School of Nursing for her undergraduate studies. Catherine has been working in the medical field for 16 years, starting her career as a registered nurse in Indianapolis, IN, then working as a travel nurse throughout Colorado, Idaho, and Wisconsin. Catherine also has three years of experience in ENDO/OPP, as a lead RN assisting in provider procedures including colonoscopies, EGD, ERCP and bronchoscopies.

She is licensed and certified as a nurse practitioner and certified in Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
