Kena Chase named Chief Nursing Officer of Lourdes Health

Lourdes Health announced Kena Chase, MSN, RN has been named the new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), effective Sunday, November 8.
With more than 23 years of experience in healthcare, Chase has been serving as Lourdes Interim CNO since August 2020 and her previous role was the Director of Lourdes ICU, Medical Surgical, & Observation Units. Prior to her role at Lourdes, Chase spent 9 years at WellStar Spalding Regional Hospital in Griffin, Georgia where she served as Director of Medical Surgical, Stroke & Pediatrics.
Chase holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing Leadership & Management from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from South University in Savannah, Georgia. She is the recipient of honors including the Florence Nightingale Award for excellence in nursing and the Daisy Leadership Award.
When asked what she will look forward to most about starting this new position, Chase stated, “Lourdes is an exceptional place to receive care, and it’s my true honor to lead our nursing teams and patient care services. I look forward to collaborating with our physicians and multidisciplinary team to continually advance our care and services.”
